Here you can download the papercraft pattern for printing: http://www.instructables.com/id/Bonus-The-Moose/. They advise making the head from denser paper or cardboard, and the antlers from less dense paper; the antlers are relatively heavy and the head may not hold heavy antlers.
The pattern has 15 sheets: the first 9 are the head, the last 6 are the antlers. It makes sense to start gluing the head from the muzzle, without gluing the top, so that later it is convenient to attach the antlers. And it is better to choose colored paper rather than paint it. Use PVA glue.
