In general, it is great that a ferry from Saint Petersburg to Helsinki has finally been launched. It is unbelievably more convenient than minibuses and buses, at the same price. Without leaving home, you can book tickets (here: http://stpeterline.com/, via the "Book" button), print the page, and come straight to boarding with it.
It says registration ends at 18:00. At 18:03 there was this queue (exactly the same queue was there at half past five).
After standing there for half an hour, we tried some window with "... De Lux" on a red sign, and they registered us there without a queue (we did not have to pay extra).
The ferry goes out into the Gulf through the Sea Canal. It has a deep draft, so there is no other way.
You can look at the port. From above, from the upper deck, everything is very visible. That is aluminum lying there.

There is a very large Duty Free shop on the ferry. By the way, a liter (!) of Jagermeister there costs only 600 rubles. Minttu was being snapped up very energetically. There are also several bars and restaurants, a night club, a casino, and an open-air disco at the very top. The cabins have showers.
One of the large TVs shows a GPS map (this picture is already from the way back).

Near the night club, Wi-Fi with internet can be picked up.
Helsinki, as usual, is clean and lovely. The freshness of the air is very surprising. Even in the city center.
There are a lot of expensive cars. For some reason I had not noticed that so much before.

Helsinki saw me off with a proper rain.
