— Where are you going on vacation?
— To Lenin’s places...
— Ah, the hut, Gorki, Shushenskoye...
— No, Geneva, Zurich, Bern...
Before leaving I bought some cash. My God, how beautiful it is!
Flowers in some flower shop
All ducks accounted for
Chess in the park.
The only photo from the seminar
Looks like an air monitoring station. Just like in St. Petersburg.
The same booth on Google Street View a year earlier
There’s nothing straighter in the world than Swiss concrete counterweight blocks and construction fences
🌚 Lunar eclipse on September 7 (we were just passing by, and there it was)
Caught myself thinking that it’s been a very long time since I used new iOS apps that are intuitive and convenient. All the scenarios I had — “when’s the train?”, “from which platform?”, “how much time is left?”, “where are we on the map?”, “oh, the conductor is coming, need a ticket” — all of it was literally right there within two taps. Amazing.
When I bought train tickets in advance, payments didn’t go through on either of my Visa cards.
Same with the seminar ticket.
I called bank support... “Ah, yes, that was us, we blocked the payment. Looks like fraud. Nothing we can do, except send a message to the fraud department.”
Good thing both had Apple Pay as an option.
Serbian Raiffeisen 🤦♂️
